We crossed over 5 states today (Tues. 9/29), South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas! We pretty much followed the Missouri River along the borders of all these states. We headed south along Interstate 29. We went through Sioux Falls, SD; Sioux City, Iowa; Omaha, Nebraska; Kansas City, Missouri and spent the night just west of Kansas City in a town called Lawrence in the state of Kansas. For those of you who didn't know it, Kansas City straddles both states of Kansas and Missouri! (I didn't know this!)
