Today (Wed. 9/30) we spent the day in Kansas City. We drove around the area and got to see some sights. Our friends, Jackie & Jennifer Crowe are from Missouri and told us to check out "The Plaza" district of Kansas City and so we did. Boy, was it beautiful! We saw fountains and statues, ornate lamp posts and upscale stores! ~ We also had to have a taste of the famous Kansas City BBQ! Boy, was it delicious! We ordered way too much food, but we'll have leftovers for tomorrow! yum!
We spent another night in Lawrence, KS. St. Louis, Missouri here we come!
